ACCOMMODATION & Transfers
Evidence 2023 will be held at the Protea Hotel Entebbe. The Protea Hotel Entebbe will therefore serve as the headquarters hotel for the event. A very limited number of rooms are available at the Protea Hotel Entebbe, hence early booking of rooms is essential to secure accommodation in this hotel. Overflow accommodation is available at the Victoria Lake Hotel in Entebbe. The Victoria Lake Hotel is located approximately 4km (or 7 minutes drive) from the Protea Hotel Entebbe. A shuttle service will be provided between the Lake Victoria Hotel and the Protea Hotel Entebbe about 1 hour before the start of the Evidence 2023 program and a return to the Lake Victoria Hotel after the conclusion of each day’s program on 13-15 September 2023.
IMPORTANT:
1) Special rates have been negotiated at both hotels for EVIDENCE 2023 guests. Use the special discount codes listed below to qualify for the special discounted bed and breakfast room rates.
2) Complimentary shuttle services will only be provided between the Protea Hotel Entebbe and the Lake Victoria Hotel in Entebbe as described above.

LAKE VICTORIA HOTEL

Lake Victoria Hotel became operational in 1948 during the colonial time under Governor Cohen who lived in the current State House. This place had been designed to be his recreational center. He named it Lake Victoria Hotel, after the lake which was also named after the Queen of England, Queen Victoria. On her visit to Uganda in 1954, the Queen of England resided in this Hotel.
The hotel has an outdoor pool and sun terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Some rooms have the pool and garden view. A flat-screen TV with satellite channels is featured. There is free shuttle service and shops at the property. Entebbe International Airport is 3.1 km from Lake Victoria Hotel.
